Another with very extreme forging in pure iron, c105 pure carbon core. I’m chasing that magic zone where the blade feels very stiff, yet remarkably thin lower geometry, these feel spot on. Basically seriously heavy weight spine flowing perfectly into thin geometry…
This is a versatile Suji with a nice height so can easily cover Gyuto duties. I’ve dressed this one in my other standard handle material Bocote and cocobolo , very nice and hard wearing natural wood.
Standard handle but very high quality finish to the metalwork, with full blued tang, and Hilderyama kasumi finish.
