This is a custom spot for a chef knife in your choice of size. Geometry wise this is for mid to heavy thickness workhorse, personally I think wrought works best in workhorse with a nice wide convex bevel. I love making heavy knives perform, and wider bevel makes the most of the Beautiful material in polishing.
