Welcome to my knife shop😀 You will find new items here for sale most every week. I have found I am more productive and push myself further producing work to sell here on my website. Therefore I no longer take any kind of custom order or reserve items for people. I find it better to concentrate on making the very best quality work and be able to offer more items for sale. These days I use Instagram to show my working process, and I also use Instagram to give notifications of new stock, and to Auction one off items. I intend to add a fresh Mailing list for a simple notification of when new knives come in stock for those who do not use Instagram, which I will add here shortly.
145mm Damascus western Petty.
£795.00

This one off Petty is in my Damascus clad made for polishing. A very involved mix of steel and wrought and iron, some canon barrel for manganese folded until the carbon is equalised, then folding in a fine mix of nickel/ iron, the cladding is twisted and welded up over old stock c105. Water quench as always.
I forged and ground this a a workhorse geometry knife, with a beautifully convex bevel to nothing at the edge. Its excels at food release and great control of cut, to really enjoy your food prep. The bevels are polished all the way on this one finishing with a Nakayama finger stone then some more contrasty slurry mixed in.
The handle and bolster are of exceptional fit and finish, in ironwood and blued twisted Damascus from the same batch for the bolster.
A hansom knife I’m very proud of.

This has a true workhorse grind, thick at the heel with great taper and a beautifully blended convex geometry. This has a prolific bias for right hand, the left side being relatively flatter and the more convex and release to the right. The forging suited it and I wanted to try out a bias you can really feel in the cut.
It is a fantastic controlled cutter, ideal for cutting precision. Bear in mind the workhorse thickness on this one, it does not struggle in carrot other than a slight snap on thicker pieces. This would not be my chosen weapon for halving squash.
Nice wide convex bevels on this one, great fun to polish, I’ve left it at a nice even JNS blue.
Presenting this one as a standard knife with one of my standard wa handles in black palm, which is nice dense wood.
Logo on spine but no bluing on this one just for a change.
The materials are Amco Pure iron clad , vintage c105 core, water quenched.
This “Magnatite line” Is a more hardened Kurouchi finish, using clay, the conditions in the kiln and a traditional water quench. This allows me to get some nice polish on the textured finish. The materials are pure iron and c105.
This 201mm Gyuto has a nice thick spine, very deep texture and a relatively laser like feel thanks to thin lower geometry. It’s a gorgeous cutting stuff, mid weight with laser like feel and fantastic food release.
Due to the thinner lower geometry I did touch a few times on the texture and although I don’t think it detracts I have reduced from the list pricing accordingly.
I have paired all these Magnatite line with a gorgeous two tome cocobola Wa.
There is a slight imperfection to the handle on this one, a crack at the core of the figuring, it was filled easily with ca and only shows upon polishing, will not cause structural concern.

This is a chunky little Nakiri or perhaps a mini cleaver, plenty of material and deep texture, totally stiff, solid feel with some wight. Great cutter with mid thickness lower geometry, great control, but nothing slows it down, awsome food release.
Couple of very slight imperfections , a belt touch at the tip and a few marks from straightening. Which really does not detract I don’t think, but have adjusted from list price slightly. Marks will build patina and blend in more in time.

This absolute beast of a Gyuto came out near perfect, with deep heavy texture, leaving a nice mid thickness slightly wider convex bevel, with plenty of room to work.
Due to the weight the cutting feel is surprisingly laser like, but I took the time to tune some nice control into the convexity, just to give it the best possible all round cutting feel in a variety of food hard or soft, offers fantastic food release.
There is a slight belt touch towards the tip on this one, but I don’t feel it detracts, so I’ve only knocked a teeny bit off list for this impressive piece.
