These are a Pair for semi custom, you get to choose custom handle choices. The idea of this version of the pattern is you see the feather across the two blades when on display. I would like to make a custom 2 knife mag rack for these, this is the concept, so they can be displayed as in the pictures.
I feel this is the perfect pair in sizing and profile for the home enthusiast and with the display concept be very special project indeed.
Price is the blade price and acts as the deposit, final payment will be billed on completion, that will be for the handles and custom 2 blade mag rack.

The materials are 01/15n20 with my very unique heat treatment. The 15n20 in a tight pattern allows the 01 to be quite stable at full hardness, work is tempered back to 65hrc, giving an amazing balance of toughness and hardness that is designed to perform on the thinnest edge with incredible resistance to chip or fold. Being a damascus pattern that crosses the edge, edge holding is enhanced by slightly uneven wear rates between the two materials. Micro serrations as the edge wears further enhance the aggression of the blade edge.
The geometry represents my ideal all round cutting geometry. Some weight on the spine, zero flex, thinning considerably down the blade with a distinct apex into the lower bevel. Thin yet maintaining geometry not only gives great release, but actually breaks the friction in food making the cut easier.....a point often missed by over zealous thinners........ So this falls though potato even at the heel, releasing the food. The edge itself is as thin as it goes, and the entire geometry is maintainable right into the lower bevel....
I am offering this as semi custom. The price is the blade price........I am offering full custom handle options, from my amazing standard wenge from just £60, a very practical option for a pro hard use or just if you don't want or need anything too fancy for the handle. Right up to full damascus fittings wa western, you name it. So the blade amount is taken as the deposit, final payment is the handle total and shipping costs. Time depends on the complexity of the handle, work can be ready to ship in 1-4 weeks as a guide.
