Just the nicest W's pattern you will ever see on a paring knife, the material was feathered but this is one half of it, you can see the flow through the blade, forging and profile on this one is spot on, see how the pattern compresses into the choil portion.... just very nice....... Have left the blade rough finished and watch to allow for adjustments for a variety of handle options.
Geometry is lightly convex with a decent microlevel for tough in hand use.

The materials are 01/15n20 with my very unique heat treatment. The 15n20 in a tight pattern allows the 01 to be quite stable at full hardness, work is tempered back to 65hrc, giving an amazing balance of toughness and hardness that is designed to perform on the thinnest edge with incredible resistance to chip or fold. Being a damascus pattern that crosses the edge, edge holding is enhanced by slightly uneven wear rates between the two materials. Micro serrations as the edge wears further enhance the aggression of the blade edge.
I am offering this as semi custom. The price is the blade price........I am offering full custom handle options, from my amazing standard wenge from just £60, a very practical option for a pro hard use or just if you don't want or need anything too fancy for the handle. Right up to full damascus fittings wa western, you name it. So the blade amount is taken as the deposit, final payment is the handle total and shipping costs. Time depends on the complexity of the handle, work can be ready to ship in 1-4 weeks as a guide.
