This is really special...especially as I never make hunters.... but I enjoyed making this humble rustic piece. The blade is sc125 differentially hardened, the guard is canon iron, forged out from some "found" steel... forged and deep etched to show the tiny strands.... The handle is Wenge which has had the texture exposed by brushing it out... t5hen polishing.... Its just a perfect little grippy beautiful hunter utility..... I want one!

The blade length is 100mm, fits great in hand..... finest cleanest steel in the world... beautiful hamon.... edge is hard but the steel can take it even for utility, it has a higher temper than a chef but still a very tough 64/65hrc... what a cutting tool.
