This is my current batch of soft/hard Damascus clad c105. Fully polished with Japanese stones to see all the detail in the steel/iron/pure ni cladding.
It is a supremely versatile petty/small Suji/Honesuki. This has a workhorse grind after forging very close to shape and profile, so will perform well on the board, with great control and release. Will perform fantastically for small Suji slicing tasks and as a Honesuki. C105 at full hardness is still remarkably tough especially with this geometry.
It has a wa in fantastic stabilised multi dyed black ash burl from the master Adrian Knight. This has a nice thumb scoop either side rather than my usual taper which makes it especially comfortable for pinch grip and side cuts. Front copper cap to go with the Autumnal vibes.
