Grind has convexity right into the edge, combined with thin and even geometry, this is achieved by shaping and thinning into the edge on stones at every finishing stage. The result is an edge so thin it can easily flex with your finger nail, with the added weight of the knife, gives a great feel of stability and separation in the cut with no flex.
