Wicked little Petty, this was forged from 4mm stock and tapers dramatically from just under 3.5mm entering the handle to 2.8mm over the heel. Result is no flex whatsoever, with good convexity and some very thin geometry. I have given this one a nice simple utility line and passed the savings in materials on to you.
Materials- 01 carbon steel @61-62hrc
Blade length – 170mm
Height- 34mm
Thickness on spine above heel – 2.8mm –3.5 mm entering handle
Grind- Convex blended bevels, very thin at the edge. See heel shot.
