This is one of seven knives I made in this material, a culmination of over 6 months work on materials. All other pieces were commissions. This is the only one available. True high performance artwork.
Blade length - 184mm
Height - 49mm
Geometry - Zero flex, 4mm over the heel, extreme geometry with hollow ground faces accentuating the brake in angle into the convex bevel around 12mm up from the edge. Super thin at the edge, and full hardness to allow this without edge distortion.
Hardness - Double high carbon on the edge in a super fine pattern allowing full hardness of 64/65hrc
Handle - Western, removable with backscrew. Made from exhibition grade rosewood, my own mix of amber and gold in epoxy, with damascus bolster and horn spacers. Handle will suit larger hands.
