I have moved to fully forged geometry on these, this leaves soft hollows in the faces as they taper down towards the final bevel, this is followed in the grind. This one then has very laser like performance with close to zero flex.
Blade length - 245mm
height - 55mm
Geometry - 3.25mm over the heel, tapering rapidly then steadily to tip. Thin geometry, subtle hollows in the faces accentuating the super thin convex bevel for the last 12mm above the edge. Giving real laser like performance for its weight and stiffness.
Handle - Ebony white spacer with Maple burl.
Balance on heel,
Steel is 01 @61 h&c, (Carbon steel.)
