As I am not taking Custom orders in 2016 I will be offering blades for Custom handle options, you pay the blade price per cm upfront and discus your handle options and choices with me, handle and shipping costs are paid upon completion.
Here is one in my old school tight double high carbon feather damascus finished to my very very high standards.
Blade specs
Length - 210mm
height - 38mm
Thickness over heel 3mm with full distal taper, gorgeous convex grind super thin at the edge all ready for custom handle options.
Handle options could be anything from the most simple traditional Wa to the full works with damascus both ends, western with blued damascus, You can choose your own materials I have sources for most things you can imagine. After purchase I will contact you and discus handle options. Timescale depends on the handle complexity but no more than 4 weeks.
The price on feather damascus is £35/cm but I will do a one off introductory offer for this line of work and price it as a 18cm blade. So this is £100 cheaper than list price. Blade price acts as the deposit, handle costs and shipping are paid upon completion.
