These are replacing the mono line as my regular line, I feel they just stand in a category on there own and best suit my skill base, its taken me many years of tweaking my technique to get the forgework on these as I wanted it. These are heavy weights, with the spine remaining thick yet the mid to edge geometry being very fine due to the forged hollow bevels right down the blade. The edge geometry and release is similar to my mono line but you have the extra weight of the knife behind the cut. Combine this with the finest core steel around at full hardness, the ease of sharpening and maintenance of san mai and carbon steel and you have a fantastic cutter which looks great and very easy to maintain on the stones, or if your just learning on the stones, the geometry and stone finish is already there for you to follow. Will be making some maintenance videos for this line too if your just getting into sharpening. They are easily maintainable with one good stone, edge and bevel finish.......always nice to have more stones of course ;)Really happy with them :) Enjoy
Some specifications
Weight 240g approx
Length of blade - 215mm
Height - 52mm
Thickness at handle 5.2mm
Thickness over heel 4.2mm
Halfway on spine - 2.5mm
Tip 10mm - 0.7mm
Approx halfway between spine and edge on the heel measures 1.8mm to give an idea of the forgework.
Balance is on the heel
Handle is finest two tone ebony with wedge and horn, all natural will need occasional oil.
The core steel is something similar to blue 1, but even nicer in my opinion, used very hard here @ 65/66 and it is very stable indeed still.

Price includes shipping etc
Paypal preferred on these
